I created Garvey Legal Consulting, Inc. because it is my belief that everyone should have affordable access to sound legal advice and the benefits of attorney-client confidentiality. 

But I do not offer free consultations. Why? First, we all know that nothing in this world is for free, yet many lawyers still push this idea of the "free consult". However, consumers are savy and they know that the free consultation is given in order to get the consumer to sign a retainer agreement or a contingency fee agreement. It ultimately did not end up being free.

Or consumers also think that they can get "free legal advice" from their family or friend, but even then, the attorney is not enthusiastic about giving away his work for "free" and the consumer might not end up with the best quality advice. Furthermore, one of the key benefits of speaking with an attorney, the confidentiality that is created through the relationship, is lessened when the attorney is a family member or friend.

When you schedule your consultation you will fill out your intake form regarding your legal issue and provide me with any documents that you want me to review beforehand (additonal fee may apply),  and then we will have our consultation where you will receive sound legal advice and suggestions on what you should do next.
